If you’ll excuse us blowing our own trumpet for a moment, we’re proud to have won many awards for our drinks over the years.
Our very first was a Great Taste Award in 2001 for our Elderflower Cordial. The Great Taste Awards, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, have been described as the Oscars of the food world and “the Epicurean equivalent of the Booker Prize”. Since 2001, we’ve won Great Taste awards for many more of our Cordials, Pressés and Fruit Crushes, including our Organic Blueberry Cordial, Raspberry & Rose Cordial, Elderflower, Gooseberry & Muscat Grape Cordial and Lime & Lemongrass Pressé.
In 2010, the judges for the Awards sampled over 5,800 products, and we’re proud to say that they awarded us gold stars for our Blackcurrant & Cox Apple Cordial and our Blackcurrant & Apple Fruit Crush.
This year we have won a one star gold award for our English Apple Presse of which the judges said “An attractive pale fresh green appearance and a lovely aroma. Had overtones of pear, which the judges liked.”
However, when it comes to awards, we always have to give particular mention to our Elderflower Cordial, as not only has it been awarded a Great Taste Award but it also received a Gold Award from the Taste of Britain 2005, run by Sainsbury’s and The Daily Telegraph.
