Pork with Blood Orange & Mandarin Sauce

Thank you to Jimmy Meaden who sent us this fantastic recipe. We think this looks delicious and would also work well with duck.

Ingredients

Belvoir Fruit Farm6 pork medallions
Belvoir Fruit Farm 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
Belvoir Fruit Farm 1 1/2 tbsp seasoned flour
Belvoir Fruit Farm 1 garlic clove, crushed
Belvoir Fruit Farm 1 tbsp oil
Belvoir Fruit Farm 1 tbsp butter
Belvoir Fruit Farm 1 orange sliced & peeled
Belvoir Fruit Farm 3 tbsp blood orange & mandarin cordial
Belvoir Fruit Farm 2 tbsp parsley
Belvoir Fruit Farm 1 tsp dry mustard

 

 

Method

  1. Dust steaks with seasoned flour
  2. Saute in oil and butter approx 8 minutes.
  3. Remove from the pan and keep warm
  4. Drain excess fat from pan
  5. Add cordial, mustard, sauce and garlic and simmer for 3 minutes
  6. Reheat with pork, coating well with sauce.
  7. Serve sprinkled with Parsley.
